I had a bravia tv and it was garbage...swapped it for a pioneer... ps3 is nice though.
I can't see ps3 ever catching 360 in the USA, its millions behind there and has only sold an extra 300,000 so far this year. Its gonna take a long long time.
Not that it matters as its kicking the 360's butt elswhere i suppose.
Not bothered the game apart from the great graphics wasn't that good.

Thats still actuall pretty good for 360 sales in Japan as there normally around the 1-2000 mark. And arn't there stock shortages as the moment?
It will still get destroyed by the wii though and why isnt the ps3 doing better, it deserves better sales on its home turf, come on Japan put down your wii's and join the party.
Judging by how long its taken them to make Killzone 2 i wouldn't be surprised if it turns up on Ps4.
I fail to see what pirated dvds have to do with console prices. Consoles make money off software not hardware, the more consoles in a home the more software they shift.
If they kept to the 40gig model they could have knocked the price down to encorage sales. the average consumer is still put off by that price tag.
And i agree people need to get paid for what they do which is why i only buy originals but that harware price is still to high for the mass market.

Ive got in down in my shop as out the same time on both platforms. Also theres been vids of this on live lately advertising it so i very much doubt its timed.

I doubt it will come to the 360 butsaying it couldnt be done it short sighted if you remeber there was a vid of it running on 360 before it went exclusive. The storage would be its problem though so i for one would rather it be ps3 only to utilise the blue ray storage.
The target renders are made by the software houses. Sony or microsoft for that matter have little input to them. I get what your saying though.
I love blue ray but i think its got more of a struggle than DVD had. Theres loads of people who saw the advantages in dvd over video ( and just just quality but box space..vids were huge and tapes always got chewed) but are harder to win over onto another improved format. Most people i speak to say yeah its nice but i dont really need it.
The main factor is obviously price though. Old folks don't want to buy a ps3 they want a normal player and until the price of the players comes down ...
I think its looking good, i just hope theres a bit more varity in the levels or it might end up looking all the same.

I love Clives books and his imagination is not in doubt but i don't think games can really do justice to his work at present just as films dilute his ideas.
If your looking for the definitive pinhead story then i recommend you pre-order 'the scarlet gospels':Clives new book which is a mammoth story set in hell telling of the death of the ceneobite. Apparently he was peeved off with all terrible sequels to Hellraiser so wrote it to set the record straight.
Really good animation on the characters, textures are pretty low though. Generally looks good though, this could be Ps3's flagship shooter. Looking forward to it.
I have two 360 friends who are not going to buy a Ps3 just for this.
You need your eyes testing then. I actually didn't like Cyrsis apart from the graphics i thought it was poor but Killzone2 wonderful as it does look just isnt as good texture wise.
And one of the reasons killzone looks the way it does is because of the muted colour palette which allows the ps3 to render more onscreen quicker.
As for crysis running better on ps3 rather than 360 have you checked out the farcry2 footage recently the 360 is much better.
